Carly Guerra, a 15+ year veteran of the beauty industry holding executive positions at L’Oreal, Dior, and Estee Lauder, was inspired to create SAVOIR through her own journey with breast cancer. In May of 2022, Carly received her shocking diagnosis and amidst her fears of whether she was going to live, and if this disease was going to strip her of her femininity, Carly began to question the safety of the beauty products she had been using on her body for years. Worried they could be the cause of her diagnosis, she searched for a clean, safe, non-toxic product to purely moisturize her breasts (not lift, firm or alter her skin) and to her surprise no such product existed.

It was through this experience that SAVOIR was created, the world’s first beauty breast serum specifically formulated for women’s breasts and free of all toxins. Using a patent-pending parsley ferment, an ingredient dear to Carly and her grandmother Rose who was also impacted by breast cancer, Carly created this product for women all over the world. Through Carly’s breast cancer journey, she couldn’t help but feel a loss of her femininity and womanhood as she spent months in and out of hospitals and doctors’ appointments and fearing the loss of her most feminine attributes including the potential loss of her breasts. By creating SAVOIR, Carly wanted to give women this feeling of sensuality and femininity in a luxury product that they could rest assured was safe to use on their breasts. Carly’s goal with SAVOIR is to change the conversation around women’s breast care and health and provide a beautiful moisturizing product specifically designed for the skin that makes up women’s breasts, that is safe, clean and free of toxins.
