This short film invites you into the studio of celebrated artist and aesthetic dentist Dr. Charles Guerra, where the SAVOIR icon was born. Crafted in the quiet beauty of the Adirondack foothills, the icon is a tribute to legacy and love.
Originally inspired by a golden brooch Charles designed for his mother, Rose, in 1973, the symbol blends generations of craftsmanship with modern significance. Rose, Carly’s grandmother, was also impacted by breast cancer making the icon’s evolution even more poignant. When his daughter Carly, SAVOIR’s founder, was diagnosed with breast cancer, Charles returned to the bench to create a new heirloom: a double “S” that honors both the name of the brand and the shape of a woman’s breasts. It also embodies a heart representing a father's devotion to his daughter’s strength and vision.
From its origins in a jeweler’s studio to its place on each hand-crafted bottle, the icon is a reminder that beauty can be deeply personal, purposeful, and powerful.
